Hello everyone! God gave us another exciting turn on this road yesterday, when he sent Jonas - two weeks early! What a beautiful gift!IT's a BOY!!
Jonas was born Janary 27 at 3:51am.
He is 6 pounds exactly, and oh my, what a cutie!
We were home already at 12:00 noon yesterday, which was just fine with us! We've done all the hospital time we want to for a long while. But we have a healthy baby boy, and he is on ZERO MEDICATIONS!!! Wow! That's just a shock to us!
Heather's labor and delivery went very well. And she was able to deliver vaginally, which is an answer to prayer as well. She is healing up well and we are both exhausted and in recovery mode. Long ways to go to catch up on our sleep, and our two lovely children will do their best to make that difficult, but we are rejoicing and praising God!
Yana's loving her little brother! But she's also experiencing the divided attention of her parents, which she's not thrilled with. But it is SO good for her, and we know she will be a marvellous big sister! Thanks for your prayers everyone! Yana's at a doctor's appointment right now, so we'll send an update with her stuff soon.

ReplyDeleteGreat name. Great family. Great everything! I so wish I could be there and show up with baking and (decaf) coffee and hold Jonas and play with Yana. I miss you all so much and can HARDLY wait to see you all!
