Moved!!!

Great news everyone. Actually, a major surprise for us. We were expecting to move off the fourth floor today; out of ICU; (one on one with a nurse.) Generally, you go from there into the "ice" room, which is intermediate care (one nurse with two patients). But we were sent straight to the regular floor (one nurse with four patients). So obviously, Yana has surprised everyone with how well she is recovering.

This afternoon, she has started to be more awake. She still hasn't smiled for her Daddy, but he's working on it. She's just being a turkey. But Yana has her own room, which is a new experience for us. Usually we've shared a room with another patient. So this is neat. And she has a fairly large TV with VHS and DVD. Our little girl is living in the lap of luxury. She sits there like a queen bee now; soaking in all the love. Sleeping, drinking chocolate milk. Free to reject or accept cookies and chocolate pudding.

At any rate. We are floored by the gifts of God again today. We're wondering if we've overdone it with all the prayers... Yana's only got a few "attachments" left. She's sleeping well. Her bandages are coming off and the wounds are looking good. She's peeing freely. Guzzling chocolate milk. She's talking more. It's just exciting and amazing!!!

We thank God so much for everything happening. It's nothing short of amazing. Thanks again everyone for your continued prayers!
