Another (smaller) prayer request

Hi all! We just saw our cardiologist in Calgary yesterday and today got the report that Yana's left lung is working at about half capacity. She thinks this is because of a possible mucous plug in her lung. The antidote? More activity like laughing and singing and walking....to which I replied, "How about screaming?" And yes screaming is included. This is still within the realm of normal for post-op, but if it doesn't clear up in the next 2 weeks she'll need some chest physio. Did we mention that I (Heather) am due in 3 weeks with our next little proginy? Please pray with us that it does clear up!!

Although she has come through this major operation without major complications there are a few little niggling things this that we hope will straighten out in the near future. The other 2 things are: her liver is still enlarged (which is common post-op, but they usually hope for it to be cleared up by now), and Dr. Harder (Calgary cardiologist) also told us that her heart function isn't quite up to snuff. She'll need to be on another medication for that, which brings us up to 3. We hope that all of these will just be temporary!

Thanks again for your continued prayers. We trust in our all-powerful, loving God to hold our little girl in His hands and mend even these smaller things.

And pray too for our preparations, mental and physical, for our next little one! It's a lot to handle in 1 month!!

With much love and gratefulness for your support,

MHY&BB
