We're Home! At last! We got home around 4:30 today. Yana has already had some fun in the snow. It was her first time to actually be outside and playing in months. My mom and dad were able to come with us, so they'll help us get back into routine. But we want everyone to know how thankful we are for the many many prayers offered and support shown to us over the last few weeks and months. It has been a very difficult stretch for us, but we were sustained by the Grace and love of God and the prayers of His people.
Yana's pretty tired most of the time, which is understandable. She sleeps a lot. And so do we, quite honestly. We get worn out fairly quick yet, so we've got some recovery to do ourselves. But we'll keep you posted if there are any needs or concerns yet. For now, we are all praising God for bringing us through this ordeal, and returning us home safely with our little Yana.
Praise the Lord!!
- Mike, Heather, Yana, and the bump.

Hi Heather & Mike and Yana...
ReplyDeleteGod's Mercy and Grace are amazing! Can you imagine how devastating it must be for parents on a journey such as yours who don't know Christ in their hearts.
We are friends of Nana T. She gave us a link to your blog today. We're sure she and Bumpa are a comforting support.
How appropriate to play "Baby Mine" on the blog. It is a favourite song of ours from our favorite movie (Bette Midler's "Beaches").
We continue to pray for peace and comfort for all of you.
Shalom,
Lew & Laura Wiffen, Tillsonburg Ontario.
Wonderful!
